An homage to Porsche's Le Mans win in 1970, this Porsche Design timepiece is a limited edition, there are presently less that 40 remaining. The Porsche Salzburg 917 car driven by Hans Herrman and Richard Attwood, number 23, was the first win for Porche at the prestigous 24-hour Le Mans race. The timepiece comes in its own special box complete with a miniature version of the car. Designed with calibrated ETA 2894-2 movement with energy-optimized Porsche Design rotor, a black perforated calf strap with red stitching, and titanium case and bezel. A treasure for many lifetimes.
We are proud to carry Porsche Design timepieces and writing instruments. Each piece is designed and crafted with the same precision and artistry as the cars. The Porsche Design Studio was established in Stuttgart, Germany in 1972 by Professor Ferdinand Alexander Porsche, grandson of the founder/designer of the Porsche and Porsche 911 respectively.
